The Dodge Ram Conversion Van seats either seven or eight people, depending on the configuration. The model line was discontinued in 2003 and replaced by the Sprinter van, which does not offer a conversion van option.
The full-size Dodge van was first introduced in 1971. Dodge used a unibody design on these early models that set it apart from the competition. Because of this design, the Dodge vans also outsold the competition. In the 1980s, Dodge pioneered the 15-passenger van that was commonly used by churches and schools. Due to an increase in fuel prices and the growing popularity of the mini-van segment, the Dodge conversion vans were discontinued in 2003.
