The 2009 Dodge Sprinter included seating for up to 12 people. Dodge first obtained rights to the Sprinter in 2003, and the earliest models had a maximum capacity of 10 passengers.
The 2009 Dodge Sprinter had four rows of seating. The first included two front seats, rows two and three each had room for three passengers, and the back row was designed to seat up to four. Originally developed and sold by Mercedes-Benz in 1995, the Sprinter was reacquired by Mercedes in 2010. As of 2015, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has a capacity for up to 12 passengers, like its Dodge predecessor.
