Who Manufactures Cooper Tires?

As of 2015, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company manufactures its own tires in eight different manufacturing facilities across the globe. Cooper also manufactures tires for Avon, Dean, Mastercraft and Starfire.

Cooper began in 1914 as M and M Manufacturing Company and produced tire patches and tire repair kits. In 1946, the company changed its name to Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, and it was publicly traded by 1960. As of 2015, Cooper is the 11th largest global tire manufacturer and the fourth largest in the United States. Cooper has more than 60 manufacturing, sales, distribution, technical and design facilities worldwide and employs nearly 13,000 people.
