The 2015 Lincoln MKZ is a four-door, front-wheel drive, mid-size luxury sedan powered by a 2.0-liter, turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 240 horsepower and 270 foot-pounds of torque. Additional engine options include a 3.7-liter V6 and a hybrid powertrain. All-wheel drive is optional on non-hybrid MKZ models.
All versions of the 2015 Lincoln MKZ include 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, leatherette upholstery and eight-way, power-adjustable front seats. Ford's Sync voice command system is standard, as are an 11-speaker CD sound system, rear parking sensors and a rearview camera. Option packages for the MKZ include the Select Package that upgrades the upholstery to leather and adds additional adjustments to the steering wheel, the Reserve package that includes blind-spot monitoring and navigation options, and a Technology package that offers lane-assist and frontal crash prevention systems.
The upgraded V6 engine option for the MKZ is a 3.7-liter engine that produces 300 horsepower and 277 foot-pounds of torque, accelerating the MKZ from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.7 seconds. In comparison, the base engine requires 7.2 seconds, but gets 26 miles per gallon in combined driving versus the V6's rating of 22 miles per gallon. The hybrid system available for the MKZ uses a 2.0-liter inline-four combined with an electric motor that produces 188 combined horsepower and has a fuel economy of 38 miles per gallon in combined driving.
