Lowe Boats is a company that manufactures aluminum boats and canoes. The company was founded by Carl and Dianna Lowe in 1971. It was known as Lowe Line until 1980.
1972 was the first model year for Lowe Boats, when it released 29 models of boats and canoes. Lowe Boats was purchased by Outboard Marine Corporation in 1988. It was sold to Genmar Holdings in 2001, then acquired by Brunswick Corporation in 2004. Lowe Boats received the International Organization of Standardization 9001:2000 Certification in 2007, becoming the first full-line aluminum boat company to do so. It has also received the CSI award multiple times. As of 2014, Lowe Boats is headquartered in Lebanon, Mo.
