Full Answer

To find a list of voluntarily recalls made by Toyota, navigate to PressRoom.Toyota.com and hover the mouse pointer over the Corporate tab. Click Safety/Recall on the drop-down menu. On the Safety/Recall page, click on the year of the voluntary recall to find all the safety recalls for that particular year. For 2010 and 2011, Toyota has created a more comprehensive list of model, year and make for both new and used vehicles recalled. The site only lists recalled cars from 2009 to the present year. Visit Toyota.com/recall and use the recall lookup tool to see whether a specific car has a recall history.

MotorTrend.com provides a search tool that allows users to filter Toyota's safety recall list by model, body style and class. The site also lets users search for new or used Toyota cars with a recall history. Motor Trend also includes mandatory Toyota recalls and information issued by the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration.
