Where Are Land Rovers Made?

The Indian company Tata Motors manufactures Land Rovers in several countries throughout the world, including China, India and the United Kingdom, as of 2015. The company builds its products in the cities of Changshu, Pune, Whitney and Liverpool.

The Jaguar Land Rover company remains headquartered in the United Kingdom. The Tata Motors company opened its first Land Rover factories in China in order to target new markets as well as address cost concerns. The Chinese location allows the company to better supply specific auto-buying markets.

Tata Motors bought the Jaguar Land Rover company from the Ford Motor Company in 2008 for $2.3 billion. The company sells vehicles in almost 200 countries.
