The Ford F650 is a large commercial truck designed for very heavy towing and cargo hauling jobs. Pro Loader versions are designed for flatbed hauling, while straight-frame and tractor versions are designed mainly for towing purposes.
The Ford F650 is one of the few trucks in its class with a gasoline engine. The Triton V-10 used in the 2016 F650 produces 320 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque. Ford also provides an optional compressed natural gas and propane conversion for the Triton engine. A turbodiesel engine is also available for the F650 that produces 675 foot-pounds of torque and 270 peak horsepower.
