The fuse utilized by a Jeep is not always standard, and can vary based on the individual Jeep model. Different incarnations of the same Jeep could also potentially come pre-packaged with different fuses. Because of this, Jeeps can require many variations of fuses.
Every vehicle, including a Jeep, comes equipped with an "Ignition-off-Draw" fuse, commonly referred to as an IOD fuse. The IOD fuse is usually disconnected from the vehicle's central power module. Because all vehicles are constructed in different ways, with different materials, it is highly unlikely that they would all come equipped with a standard fuse. A universal standard fuse implies that all vehicles use the same amperage to function, but this is untrue.
