As of 2014, the quality of Jaguar cars has steadily increased since its introduction into the United States. Having increased reliability while maintaining high-performance standards, three Jaguar models (the F-Type, XF and XJ) have been ranked among U.S. News Auto Report's top 10 cars.
According to Automotive News, Jaguar's first appearance on the U.S. market was not successful with high-end car buyers and auto enthusiasts, and the brand was known for unreliability. In the early 2000s, Jaguar began to experiment with its line-up and later, in 2012, began to offer a more practical selection and emphasized quality, reliability and safety in addition to its sporting and high-performance heritage. It paid off when Jaguar entered J.D. Power and Associates' Initial Quality Studies top 10, taking second place in 2013. As of 2014, sales continue to improve in the U.S.
