As of 2008 Isuzu announced they would no longer be selling any vehicles in America, but when they were, it was a common process to sell used vehicles of other makes. The company had failed to produce any positive gains in the automotive market causing them to withdraw from the market.
Isuzu had a joint-venture of General Motors and had planned to continually produce its two midsized i-series SUVs. The lack of support from American consumers lead to the company ultimately discontinuing their vehicles and closing down shop. However, the company still continues to supply parts to their past consumer base.
