Honda knew of one injury associated with the Honda Odyssey recall involving airbags. In June 2014, Honda voluntarily recalled three million vehicles, including the 2002 to 2004 Odyssey models, to replace their front airbag inflators. Injuries are possible if the inflators deploy with excessive pressure that ruptures the inflator casing.
The free airbag inflator replacements are for several models of Honda and Acura vehicles originally sold in states including South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas and Louisiana. The recall also affects Mississippi, California, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The 2015 Honda Odyssey seats eight people including the driver. Honda's suggested retail starting prices range from $28,975 for the LX model to $44,600 for the Touring Elite version.
