Infiniti produces several hybrid models as of 2015, including the Q50 and Q70 hybrid sedans, as well as the QX60 hybrid crossover vehicle. Infiniti also produces a hybrid Formula 1 race car, the RB10.
The Q50 and Q70 hybrid sedans carry on from Infiniti's G and M sedan lines, respectively. The Q50 is a compact sedan equipped with a 360-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine combined with a 50-kilowatt electric motor. This allows the Q50 to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds in rear-wheel drive form. All-wheel drive is also available as an option.
The Q70 sedan is considered a mid-size sedan, though its interior room is comparable to many full-size sedans. It uses the same powertrain as the Q50 and can also be fitted with optional all-wheel drive. While Infiniti produces a long-wheelbase version of the Q70 designated the Q70L, only the standard Q70 is available as a hybrid vehicle.
The QX60 crossover is designed to seat seven. Unlike Infiniti's sedan hybrids, the QX60 uses a supercharged 2.5-liter inline-four engine rather than a V6. This engine produces 250 peak horsepower and is paired with a 15-kilowatt electric motor, continuously-variable transmission and front-wheel drive in the standard QX60. An all-wheel drive model of the QX60 is also available.
