What Are the Industry Specs for the Toyota Avalon?

All 2015 Toyota Avalon models come with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission and 17-inch silver painted alloy wheels. Each one also comes with a dual chrome-tipped integrated exhaust system and acoustic noise-reducing windshield and front windows.

There are four Toyota Avalon models available in 2015. They range from the Avalon XLE to the Avalon Limited, and each has the same basic equipment. All Avalons come standard with an electronic ignition system, an ultra-low emission system and front wheel drive.

Newer Avalon models come with an electronically-controlled automatic transmission and MacPherson struts, giving the cars a smooth ride. Electric power steering with a power-assisted rack and pinion is standard as are front and rear disc brakes.

Toyota makes some of the safest cars in the world with features such as a vehicle stability control system, 10 standard airbags and seats made to minimize whiplash injuries in the event of an accident. All Avalon models have child-protector rear door locks, a tire pressure monitor sensor and an anti-theft system with engine immobilizer. Some Avalon models come standard with a blind spot monitor as well as other safety equipment not found on lower end Avalons.

The Toyota Avalon gets 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. It comes with options such as the Entune Premium Audio and Navigation system, and the Entune App Suite.
