Honda revealed changes for its Honda Pilot line in 2015; these changes include more comfortable and configurable second-row seating and a large console for storing items in the front. The redesign is for model year 2016 Honda Pilots.
The redesigned Honda Pilot is designed to provide better passenger comfort for the second row of seats, which occupants can move more easily than older models. The redesign also changes the look of the Pilot, moving it from a boxy crossover SUV to one with a sleeker, more aerodynamic look. In addition, the Pilot redesign changes the engine to a six-cylinder model able to turn off cylinders to improve efficiency, and buyers can opt for a nine-speed transmission at higher trim levels.
