Greenleaf Auto Recyclers is a chain of automotive salvage yards in the United States. They buy and sell heavily worn used cars and recycle metal and usable auto parts from the cars for sale to consumers.
Greenleaf Auto Recyclers was founded in 1999. It is based out of Texas but has regional offices in California and runs junkyards across the country. It is currently a subsidiary of LKQ, which acquired the company in 2009. Despite the acquisition, Greenleaf outlets retain the Greenleaf Auto brand name.
Greenleaf outlets sell scrap metal and auto parts to wholesalers, such as mechanics or dealerships, as well as to retail consumers, but they are primarily a wholesale business. Retail consumers can buy spare parts from them, get estimates on the worth of their car and sell or buy junked automobiles.
