Some popular RV manufacturers are Airstream, Inc., Alfa Leisure, Artic Fox by Northwood Manufacturing and Cardinal by Forest River. Fleetwood RV, Newell Coach, Newmar Corporation and Nu Wa Industries are also highly rated RV companies.
Airstream's RVs are known for their rounded aluminum exteriors. The company started producing RVs in the early 1900s and still produces luxurious trailers. Also extremely comfortable, many people consider the Airstream RV to have one of the best interiors and exteriors based on appearance.
Alfa Leisure's travel trailers are known for their interior design and comfort, as well. Although the company shut down in 2008, its RVs are still available for purchase via dealers and private parties.
Fleetwood RV's two most popular models are the mid-range diesel Bounder and the Pace Arrow, which sports a gas engine. Fleetwood also sells a smaller RV, the Class C Tioga.
Owned by Berkshire Hathaway, Cardinal produces RVs that boast stylish interiors and high levels of comfort. All units come with the option of two, three or four slide-outs.
Newmar Corporation's popular models include the diesel KIng Aire motorhome and the Cypress fifth wheel.
One of the most popular fifth wheel coaches, the Hitchhiker, is manufactured by Nu Wa Industries.
