Ford dealerships do not work on vehicles, but they may have service centers on-site that do complete auto repairs. If not on-site, the service centers are often located somewhere close to the dealership.
Dealerships have garages or service centers that are affiliated with themthat are responsible for repairing consumer vehicles. The service centers employ certified ASE mechanics who are trained to work specifically with Ford vehicles. The work they complete includes powertrain repairs, such as head gaskets and engine work, anddrivetrain repairs, which includes transmission and body work.
Dealership service centers are also generally more expensive than standard repair shops, as they use original manufactured parts on their customer's vehicles.
