The 2015 Fleetwood Southwind motorhome is built on a Ford chassis powered by a 362-horsepower, 6.8-liter Triton V10 engine. The Southwind Class A motorhome offers three different exterior graphic options and three different floor plans. All floor plans feature two slide-outs, a queen-size bed and a three-piece dry lavatory.
The Southwind 32VS measures 33.5-feet in length and features a fully-equipped galley kitchen. A three-burner cook top, steel microwave oven, double-bowl stainless steel sink and 12-cubic foot four-door refrigerator furnish the kitchen. The living area's slide-out houses a facing dinette and a sofa sleeper equipped with an air mattress and footrest. An optional standing dinette with credenza replaces the standard facing dinette. An LED television is optional for the living space, while the bedroom comes standard with a 22-inch LCD television.
The 35-foot Southwind 34A model adds to the living area a wrap-around sofa, 40-inch LED television and a DVD home theater sound system. The bedroom television is increased to a 32-inch LED model. The standard queen-size bed of the 34A model is upgradeable to a king bed. The 37-foot Southwind 36L model places the three-piece bathroom at the rear of the motorhome, captive to the bedroom. An additional half-bath accompanies the living space. An optional washer/dryer combo is available in the bedroom.
All Southwind models include four-point automatic levelers, a trailer hitch with seven-pin electrical connection and a 17-foot retractable awning. The Southwind is outfitted with 50-amp electrical service, a 10-gallon quick recovery water heater and high-efficiency air conditioning. Exterior graphic options are Champagne Shimmer, Pewter Mist and Sandstone Mist.
