As of 2015, all models of the Fiat 500 come with a 1.4-liter 16-valve engine, which provides an estimated 31 miles per gallon in city driving and 40 mpg in highway driving. All Fiat 500 models are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and are front wheel-driven.
The base model of the Fiat 500 comes with a standard Bluetooth connection and six interior speakers. The base model also comes equipped with power windows, power door locks, halogen headlights and daytime lights. Electronic stability control, advanced multistage front air bags and tire pressure displays all come standard; side-mounted air bags are included in the base model as well.
When moving up from the base model, more features become available, such as the aluminum wheels on the Ribelle model. The Sport model of the Fiat 500 has a fine-tuned suspension and comes with larger 16-inch wheels as well as a security alarm. The Lounge model has silver aluminum wheels and fog lamps; it also includes a year-long subscription to Sirius XM radio. The Turbo model offers a turbocharged version of the standard engine along with an automatic transmission, rear parking assist, a power sunroof and black aluminum wheels.
As of 2015, prices for Fiat base models range from about $17,145 to $20,500.
