The 2014 Lincoln Mark LT was a luxury pickup truck based on the 12th-generation Ford F-150 platform and powered by a 360-horsepower V8 engine. The Mark LT was produced in both short and long bed models and many features are similar to the 2014 Ford F-150 in its Platinum trim.
The 2014 Lincoln Mark LT featured a number of luxury interior features, including standard leather upholstery on the seats and dashboard, wood trim, an infotainment system with a dash-mounted screen, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The LT featured a four-door extended cab and unique exterior styling to differentiate it from Lincoln's SUV models, including a unique split grill design similar to that used on the MKS sedan and MKT crossover. Performance numbers for the Mark LT were comparable to similarly configured F-150 models, including a towing capacity of over 7,500 pounds.
The 2014 Lincoln Mark LT shared almost all of its features with the 2014 F-150 Platinum pickup truck since the Mark LT was essentially a re-badge of the F-150 Platinum for the Mexican market. The first-generation Mark LT had weak sales numbers in the United States and was replaced by the F-150 Platinum for the 2009 model year. However, the Mark LT was the best-selling Lincoln model in Mexico at the time, so the Platinum continued to be sold under the Mark LT nameplate there.
