The Excalibur limousine is a limited edition limousine model manufactured by Milwaukee-based automobile company Excalibur. It was created specifically as a limousine, rather than a stretch or converted vehicle, and was modeled after a 1920s-era Mercedes. The 1989 Excalibur was originally sold for $100,000 straight out of the factory.
The Excalibur car company built automobiles from the 1960s through the 1980s and went out of business in 1989. The company was known for hand-making its cars using distinctive old-fashioned materials and design elements including flexible exhaust pipes, external spare tires and vintage air horns on several models. As of 2013, there were believed to be fewer than six 1989 Excalibur limousines left in the United States.
