Replacing the headlight assembly on a 2014 Ford F150 is quite easy to do and should take no longer than one hour to complete. A set of wrenches, sockets, a Phillips screwdriver and the new headlight assembly are required to complete the task.
To replace the headlight assembly, start by opening the hood and locating the headlight housing. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the flexible flab to the headlight's housing. Use a 10 millimeter socket wrench to carefully remove the three bolts that hold the housing to the frame of the vehicle. It is important to keep track of any removable parts in the event the replacement doesn't supply the same parts. Finish the removal of the current headlight assembly by gently pulling the housing away from the frame.
Once the factory headlight assembly is no longer attached to the frame, put the new assembly in the place of the previous one and use a Phillips screwdriver to secure the housing to the flexible flab with the corresponding screw. To complete the installation, use a 10 millimeter socket wrench and the three bolts removed in earlier steps to secure the new assembly to the vehicle's frame.
