Uconnect is a wireless cellular telecommunications system for some automobiles, including Dodge, Chrysler, Ram and Jeep. The system provides vehicle connectivity over the Sprint network to allow on-board vehicle features, such as phone, navigation, entertainment, Wi-Fi access and vehicle controls by touchscreen, voice command or smartphone

A monthly subscription is required to use the Uconnect features, as well as an additional fee to turn the vehicle into a Wi-Fi hotspot that allows users to connect mobile devices to the Internet through the system. Uconnect allows for music and movie downloads as well as providing vehicle health and performance reports, emergency assistance and voice texting. The smart phone application allows vehicle controls, such as remote engine starting and door unlocking.
