Dodge Sprinter camper vans are used by individuals and families for travel and recreation, including camping, vacationing and touring. Sprinter camper vans are cargo vans with recreational vehicle features installed, such as beds, kitchens, bathrooms, raised or pop-up roofs and generators.
The Dodge version of the Sprinter van was produced by Mercedes Benz between 2003 and 2009, until Mercedes took the brand back. Mercedes released the first Sprinter in 1995 and still produces the Sprinters under its label, as of 2015. The Sprinter is a popular model for camper conversion because it offers enough room for an adult to stand throughout the cabin. Additionally, its small diesel engine provides a powerful engine with excellent fuel economy.
