When Did Suzuki Stop Selling Vehicles in Canada?

Suzuki stopped selling vehicles in Canada after the 2014 car model year, which ended its 30-year automobile business in Canada. This was the result of the bankruptcy of American Suzuki Motor Corp. in November 2013.

In 2012, when Suzuki sold only 5,458 vehicles, the company couldn't cover its costs of designing and developing vehicles for the Canadian market. The sales for the first two months of 2013 fell 30 percent compared to the first two months of 2012.

Despite exiting the Canadian market, Suzuki still honors all vehicle warranties and provides services to existing customers through service providers in Canada. Suzuki still sells motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and marine products in Canada.
