As of 2015, Newmar Luxury Motorhomes & RVs has not gone bankrupt and is specializing in the production of Class A Motorhomes. The company made the decision in 2012 to exit the fifth-wheel industry segment under the leadership of its president, Matt Miller.
Newmar Corporation came under the sole ownership of the Miller family when Mahlon Miller purchased the remaining 49 percent of the company's stock in 1991. The company expanded its operations throughout the 1990s and early 2000s with the construction of a manufacturing facility in Nappanee as well as additional expansions, such as a paint facility and a chassis prep and welding facility. Mahlon Miller was succeeded by his son, Matt Miller, as the company's president in 2006.
