Bad Boy Buggies began in 2003, when Bubba Kaiser and Joe Palermo built their first buggy. The fully electric vehicle had dual motors and four-wheel drive, allowing the buggy to travel off-road while operating quietly. As Bad Boy Buggies expanded its product line, it added two-wheel drive buggies and gas-powered buggies. Global manufacturer E-Z-GO bought the brand in 2010.
Bad Boy Buggies offers a sport series and a work series. Models in the sport series include the Recoil, the Ambush and the Instinct. Models in the work series include the HD, the XD and the LTO. The sport series focuses on performance and quiet operation; the more durable work series is designed to withstand the work required for property upkeep.
