As of April 2015, Barrett-Jackson has three collectible car auctions scheduled for 2015. West Palm Beach, Florida, hosted an event April 17 to 19, while Reno, Nevada, has an auction August 6 to 8, and Las Vegas hosts Barrett-Jackson from September 24 to 26.
Barrett-Jackson's Florida auction occurred at the South Florida Fairgrounds along Southern Boulevard. Several cars that were up for bid included a 1929 Packard Runabout roadster, a 1937 Ford Club custom, a 1957 Lincoln Premier convertible and a 1957 Chevrolet 210 custom. Bidders paid $200 to gain entry to the event.
The Reno-Lake Tahoe auction happens at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on Virginia Street. The Las Vegas event occurs at the Mandalay Bay Event Center on Las Vegas Boulevard. Participants pay $150 to gain entry if fees are received by July 13 for the Reno event.
Three-day events include previews for bidders and consignors, vendor booths, professional demonstrations, thrill rides and automobilia auctions. The main events focus on selling custom, collectible and classic cars. Events are broadcast, sometimes live, on the Discovery Channel and Velocity.
Barrett-Jackson accepts consignors for each auction. Potential sellers can create a consignment account online, print and mail their consignment documents, or call Barrett-Jackson to speak to a consignment specialist.
