Hyundai offers a number of warranty tiers under their America's Best Warranty program. In addition to the five-year, 60,000 New Vehicle Limited Warranty, the company offers a 10-year, 100,000 Powertrain Warranty, a seven-year unlimited mile, anti-perforation warranty and others.

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty specifically covers radio and audio systems, paint, battery, air conditioner and wear items. These are covered in addition to the Powertrain Warranty, which covers selected engine, transmission and transaxle components.

Some of the items are note covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for the entire duration of the warranty. For example, the wear items, including belts, break pads, filters, wiper blades and similar items, are covered for one year or 12,000 miles only. Similarly, the warranty covers the battery for only three years, but with no mileage restriction. Furthermore, if the warranty is between the second and third year, Hyundai covers the entirety of the labor costs of battery installation, but only 25 percent of the cost of the battery itself.

This warranty excludes vehicles under commercial usage. This includes taxis, delivery vehicles or vehicle rental services.
