To connect the batteries in a Club Car golf cart, position the batteries in the battery compartment. Connect the control box to the first battery, then each battery to the next one, attaching the last battery to the control box to make a battery loop.
To connect the batteries in a Club Car golf cart, lift the cart's seat and expose the battery compartment. Keep the seat open by securing it with a rope. With a wire brush, clean the battery cables' terminal connectors. Lower the batteries inside the compartment.
To connect the control box to the first battery, connect a cable from the former to the red-color positive terminal of the latter. To connect the first battery to the next one in the series, connect the black-color, negative terminal cable of the former to the positive terminal of the latter. Repeat this process until the positive terminal of the last battery is connected to the negative terminal of the previous one.
Connect the control box's negative terminal to the last battery's negative terminal. This completes the battery loop. Join the unattached cable to the positive terminal of any one of the batteries. There should be one unattached cable from the Club Car's solenoid or control box. This cable is meant for the reverse motor.
