The Honda Civic Natural Gas has been available in the United States since 1998. It is available in 38 states and manufactured in Greensburg, Indiana. The Chevrolet Silverado 2500 became available for order in the spring of 2012. It has a 6.0-liter V-8 engine, with a computer controlled system that automatically switches between gasoline and compressed natural gas. The Dodge Ram 2500 CNG became available in the summer of 2012.
It has an 18.2 gasoline gallon equivalent tank with an approximate range of 255 miles and an eight-gallon gas tank. The Ford F250 is built in Kentucky, and Ford-supported qualified vehicle modifiers perform optional bi-fuel compressed natural gas conversions.
