One problem with the Lincoln MKZ is that it simply isn't as fun to drive as rival cars, such as the Cadillac CTS or similarly priced German cars, states U.S. News & World Report. Also, the V-6 model's fuel economy is a bit inferior to that of other V-6 engines.
The car also does not offer as much headroom as desired in the back seat, especially for tall passengers. Its infotainment system is also more complicated than necessary. Other complains are that the car does not respond quickly to inputs, and that it features small buttons and a touch screen that's baffling to operate. Additionally, U.S. News & World Report states that the materials were not as luxurious as they should have been given the price of the car.
