The 2015 Ford Ranger is not planned to be released in the United States market, as of April 2015. However, the standard features of the new Rangers can be estimated by the overseas test market trucks that are currently available.
The following is a list of the 2015 Ford Ranger's likely standard features.
- Interior features
- Engine specifications
- Exterior features
- Safety features
The interior offers an updated and stylish, user-friendly front dashboard and standard vinyl finishes with leather options. The cab has a more crossover versus truck feel to it.
The three available engines are either 6-speed manual or automatic transmission: a diesel 3.2-liter 5-cylinder, a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and a diesel 2.2-liter 4-cylinder.
The exterior is a uni-body steel frame. The truck has a true 4x4 system with locking differential and electronically controlled transfer case. The updated design features a hexagonal grille, mudflaps and power adjustable exterior mirrors.
Standard safety features include driver and passenger airbags, alarm, keyless entry and anti-lock brakes with dynamic steering control. Among safety driving features, the truck offers a lane-keeping assist system, adaptive radar cruise control and drowsy driver alert system.
The features of the 2015 Ranger depend on the country where the truck is sold. It will be available worldwide, but no plans are intended to release the truck in the U.S. market.
