Coachman models group product lines by length and interior living arrangements. The product line Encounter comes in a 36 foot long model with a BH layout that includes a king bed, convertible bunk beds and a sofa bed. Two 37-foot models are also available. The family-friendly LS design suits a couple, with one queen bed, a larger sofa and a master bath area. The SA arrangement shifts the kitchen forward and has a separate bathroom outside the bedroom.

Coachmen RV lines differ by the chassis or fuel type and if they have either bunk beds or slide-out awnings. The Sportscoach Cross Country RD uses a rail vehicle chassis and is powered by a rear-mounted diesel engine. The Encounter, Mirada and Pursuit lines are Class A motorhomes, built on a bare chassis with a front-mounted gas engine. The Concord, Leprechaun, Freelander and Prism are Class C motorhomes, built on a cutaway truck chassis with part of the living area protruding over the cab.

In addition to its RV line, Coachmen also manufactures travel trailers, fifth wheels and tent campers.
