Cars regularly found in the United States include American brands, such as Dodge, Chevrolet, Buick and Jeep; as well as Japanese-made cars like Subaru, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Nissan. Korean car brands Kia and Hyundai are also common. Tesla Motors, another U.S. manufacturer, produces high-performance electric vehicles.
In Europe, Germany is well-known for its car manufacturing industry. Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and BMW are all German-made cars. The United Kingdom produces a variety of cars as well, including brands such as Jaguar, Bentley, McLaren, Rolls-Royce and Land Rover. Italy boasts many manufacturers known for making sports cars. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati all hail from Italy.
Mastretta, based in Mexico, has designed a high-performance sports car, as has Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg. Skoda, made in the Czech Republic, and Dacia, made in Romania, are two more examples of international car manufacturers.
