Sites such as eBay, Amazon.com, Oodle and Craigslist allow users to sell used parts for Ford F-150 trucks and other vehicles online. Each site has different requirements for selling, but all allow users to post pictures and descriptions of the part, as well as set specific communication options for buyers.
To sell a used Ford F-150 part on Amazon.com, a user needs to have an active Amazon account and then sign up for the Amazon Marketplace program. This program allows users to create their own listings for any item already sold on Amazon.com. Listings show up under a special section for third party purchasing options, wherein a buyer is able to view the seller's price and feedback, as provided by other Amazon.com users.
Selling parts on eBay also requires users to have an eBay account and apply for seller credentials, which involves linking a credit or debit card and bank account to the user's eBay account. Items sold on the site are done so under either an auction model or a traditional fixed-price method. Payments are processed through eBay and paid to the seller, minus any transaction fees.
Craigslist and Oodle do not handle any payment methods. The individual buyers and sellers are responsible for setting up that aspect of the sale.
