A motorcycle can be hauled inside of a trailer, but the trailer may require customization to ensure that the motorcycle remains safe during travel. The motorcycle should be loaded with the front end first to make it easier to tie down using straps.
To secure a motorcycle on a trailer, both tie-down straps and a front wheel chock are required. The front wheel chock can be bolted to the trailer to lock the motorcycle's front wheel during travel. During the strapping process, attention should be placed on the front-end straps, as they are important in diluting the amount of force that the motorcycle receives when the towing vehicle makes a hard brake.
