Dodge Transmissions are available for sale at Certified Transmission, Smart Parts Automotive and GotTransmissions.com. These companies sell new and used transmissions for Dodge cars, trucks, vans and SUVs.
Smart Parts Automotive and Certified Transmission re-manufacture transmissions, while GotTransmissions.com sources transmissions from its warehouse or from a network of parts dealers. All three ship to anywhere in the United States, but only GotTransmissions.com offers free shipping within the continental 48 states. All three companies provide quotes through their websites or over the phone. GotTransmissions.com provides transmissions for Dodge vehicles from as early as 1985, while Smart Parts Automotive and Certified Transmission provide transmissions for more recent models.
Smart Parts Automotive has a core return program to help keep prices low. In this program, the company charges the customer's credit card with a deposit. It refunds the deposit if the customer sends the core of the old transmission within 30 days of receipt of the re-manufactured transmission. The customer can send the core with the pre-paid bill of lading that accompanies the delivery. If the customer can't send a core, the deposit is added to the price of the transmission. Smart Parts Automotive reserves the right to not sell a type of transmission for which it is low on cores.
