Point a Web browser to FLHSMV.gov, and click the View Menu button on the home page. From the pop-out menu, click on Driver Licenses & ID Cards and then select Driver License Check & ID Tracking System from the drop-down menu. Enter the Driver License number into the form field below, fill out the CAPTCHA form, and click Enter to bring up the results.

A standard Florida Driver License check shows whether a Driver License is valid, expired or suspended and whether there are any restrictions or endorsements. A Driver License check also shows a Driver License's classification of commercial, non-commercial or motorcycle. Also included is the expiration date and an option to purchase a driver history via mail or electronically.

Driver School Election eligibility is also available, showing when Driver School was last elected to be attended and the number of times Driver School has been elected in total. Personal information, motor vehicle and driver records are blocked in accordance with the Driver Privacy Protection act.
