AAA auctions, better known as Americas Auto Auction, gives buyers the opportunity to purchase vehicles that are typically used, although in some cases presales include new vehicles. The vehicles include RVs, marine vehicles, cars, trucks and other popular forms of transportation.
The AAA has auctions all around the United States. As of 2014, seven states have predetermined locations for the auctions. Florida has two auction locations: Jacksonville and Pensacola. Oklahoma has an auction site in Tulsa, and Illinois has one in Chicago. Pennsylvania has one site in Pittsburgh, and South Carolina has a location in Greenville. Texas has three locations: Dallas, North Houston and Austin/San Antonio.
The auctions take place regularly, with several occurring every few days at different auction sites. Buyers wishing to find out more about the auctions should visit the AAA website. There, upcoming events are listed with more information on what vehicles are going to be sold and what time the auction should start. Online, buyers can look at the proposed inventory for the auction, search the listings and even purchase presale vehicles ahead of time to beat the crowds. Other services are also available online, such as information on past sale results and a catalog of no-sale listings.
