Chevrolet Corvettes from the 2014 model year are available from Chevrolet dealers nationwide. As of March 2015, some 2014 Corvettes may still be available for purchase as new vehicles, whereas used 2014 Corvettes are available from Chevrolet dealers, independent used car dealers and private owners.
Chevrolet's chevydealer.com website includes a dealer finder that can locate dealers with Chevrolet Corvettes in stock near a particular ZIP code. An alternative for finding 2014 Corvettes are websites such as AutoTrader.com or ebay.com where dealers and private sellers list vehicles for sale. Sale and auction websites of this kind are particularly useful for buyers looking for a used Corvette.
While frequently referred to as simply a Corvette, the 2014 Corvette has been officially renamed the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The 2014 Corvette Stingray is also available in an upgraded Z51 trim package that incorporates larger wheels, sports brakes, aggressive suspension tuning and a limited-slip differential to improve handling and track performance. The Z51 uses the same V8 engine as the standard 2014 Stingray, producing 455 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque. While this engine's power gains are modest improvements over the V8 powering the 2013 model, the 2014 Corvette engine provides 50 foot-pounds more torque at low engine speeds than the older engine. This extra low-end torque results in improved acceleration and responsiveness over previous Corvettes.
