Potential Lamborghini buyers and window shoppers alike can use the company's online configuration tool at Lamborghini.com to build a virtual Huracan model from a variety of options. Online car-buying services such as CarsDirect allow deeper customization including trim levels and optional equipment.
Lamborghini only offers its configuration tool for the Huracan LP 610-4, as of April 2015. The company's other model, the Aventador, as well as special editions offer information and photos, but not a way to build a virtual model.
Users can choose between any of the Huracan's available paint shades then scroll through a list of screens that each highlight the car's unique features and allow for further customization. Other options include wheel designs, a choice of two engine covers, several colors of brake calipers and optional performance equipment.
For those who want deeper customization, but do not mind a little less visual flash, online car-buying portals such as CarsDirect and TrueCar offer configuration tools for all Lamborghini models. Tied to official information from the automaker, these tools list all trim levels and available option packages, as well as standalone upgrades for the Huracan and Aventador.
These services offer additional advantages to prospective buyers such as listing any currently available incentives. Users are then prompted to enter personal information to receive a customized price quote based on the model, trim level, colors and options chosen. Use these quotes in negotiations with dealers whether you choose to buy your car online or at a traditional brick-and-mortar dealership.
