Suzuki, Daihatsu, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Mazda are all mini truck brands that consumers can purchase used. Subaru, Honda and Liaganzi also manufacture mini trucks that are available pre-owned.
As of 2015, Suzuki is one of the most popular mini truck brands, according to Badgerland Mini Trucks. Suzuki mini trucks come with options for 4-wheel drive as well as a range of aftermarket accessories. In addition to dealers such as Badgerland, Suzuki Carry mini trucks are available online at retailers such as Best-Used-Tractors.com, CajunMiniTrucks.com and UlmerFarmService.com.
The Mitsubishi Minicab offers more leg room than the Suzuki Carry. Some models even come with an extended cab. In addition to aftermarket accessories, the Mitsubishi Minicab comes with 4-wheel drive, a radio, heater and air conditioner. The Daihatusu Hijet offers similar options to the Mitsubishi Minicab.
The Subaru Sambar, Mazda Scrum and Nissan Clipper are other mini trucks that consumers can buy used. Most mini trucks come out of Japan, but Liaganzi manufactures mini trucks in China. These mini trucks are not as widely available as the Japanese versions. However, as of March 2015, CajunMiniTrucks.com listed one model that was almost new.
Mini trucks have been manufactured for decades. However, most currently used options only date as far back as the 1990s. Most options come from the 2000s.
