The top five best-selling vehicles in America are: the Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry, Ram Truck, Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F-Series. Overall vehicle sales in the United States for the first three months of 2015 were up 5.6 percent compared to the first three months of 2014.
As of 2015, the best-selling cars in America include the Chrysler 200, Nissan Sentra, Ford Escape, Honda Accord and the Nissan Altima. The highest-selling car in the first quarter of 2015 was the Ford F-series.
Additional best-selling vehicles include the Ford Focus, the 18th best-selling car in America in 2015, and the Hyundai Elantra, which averages 700,000 vehicles sold each year.
The Chevrolet Cruze is another best-selling vehicle in America, with over 3 million cars sold globally since the vehicle was launched in 2010. The Chevrolet Equinox had a 17 percent increase in sales between 2014 and 2015. Sales for the Toyota RAV4 increased 26.3 percent between 2014 and 2015, with 67,010 vehicles sold in the first quarter of 2015.
The Ford F-series pickup truck has been the best-selling vehicle in the United States for more than 30 years, with a 2.3 percent increase in sales between 2014 and 2015, and 177,312 trucks sold in the first quarter of 2015.
