Full Answer

Drivers who choose to test at a license bureau are encouraged to schedule an appointment prior to appearing. Those who are uncomfortable with an exam at a DMV may choose to complete the exam elsewhere prior to renewal. Individuals who choose to test elsewhere must have a vision test performed by a medical doctor licensed to practice in Florida or an optometrist. In addition, the doctor performing the test must submit a Mature Driver Vision Test Form (HSMV 72119) to the DMV.
