Ford has introduced its SYNC Wi-Fi system into many vehicles in its 2015 line-up, including the Ford F-150 Raptor. The SYNC program is a system that allows its users to plug in any Wi-Fi enabled device and turn the vehicle into a wireless hotspot.
The SYNC program utilizes a universal USB port that allows its users to connect a number of different devices. Tablets and cellphones can both serve as the system's router, which can then share the signal with surrounding users. The system also utilizes several different encrypted access points, which allow the user to completely setup a security firewall for the network.
