The 2014 Mercedes S-Class was officially launched on May 15, 2013, with production and sales beginning in August and September 2013, respectively. The 2014 model of the S-Class followed a standard sedan design model and used an aluminium architecture in its construction.
The 2014 model was the sixth automobile from Mercedes that carried the S-class name. The engine that powers this version of the S-Class is a twin turbo 4.7 liter V8 engine that can generate up to 455 horsepower. The S-class automobile line was first introduced in 2007 and was initially offered in the S63 AMG and S550 design trims.
