Powered by the sixth generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, the Surface Book is a laptop that can also serve as a tablet. Users can detach the screen at any time to use the device as a tablet. Depending on the exact configuration, the device features up to one terabyte of flash storage space, up to 16 gigabytes of RAM and an optional dedicated GPU by NVIDIA. The dedicated GPU is located in the keyboard and is only available when the device is in laptop mode. The Surface Book has a 13.5-inch screen that runs at a resolution of 3,000 by 2,000 pixels, putting the pixel density at 267 pixels per inch.
Featuring a 2.3 gigahertz sixth generation Core i5 processor, the Inspiron 11 3000 offers 128 gigabytes of solid-state storage and 4 gigabytes of RAM. The device has a 11.6-inch screen that runs at a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels, three USB ports and an SD card reader.
Apple's 2015 Retina Macbook Pro features a 15.4-Inch LED screen that runs at 2880 by 1800 pixels resolution. Depending on the exact configuration, the device features a Core i7 CPU that can boost up to either 3.4 or 3.7 gigahertz when under heavy load. The Macbook Pro has 16 gigabytes of RAM, up to 512 gigabytes of PCIe-based flash storage and an optional AMD Radeon R9 M370X GPU with 2 gigabytes of GDDr5 memory.
