The website "What Should We Call Nursing" is a Tumblr blog site about common nursing experiences that are each paired with a GIF animation that describes or relates to the experience. It is one of many such websites based off the original "What Should We Call Me" Tumblr site and is written by a nurse working in the intensive care unit at a large teaching hospital in the United States.

"What Should We Call Nursing" first appeared in April 2012, two months after the original "What Should We Call Me" blog appeared on Feb. 6. The original site was written by two 24-year-old students who had recently split up to attend different law schools.

The GIF animations on the "What Should We Call Nursing" site are intended to be humorous interpretations of common reactions a nurse may have;.

As of 2014, there are at least 40 different spin-offs of the original "What Should We Call Me" theme, including "What Should We Call Cats", "What Should We Call Princeton," "What Should We Call Camp," "What Should We Call Weddings" and "What Should We Call Engineering."
